Definition
Booking qualified sales meetings between prospects and a company's sales team, usually through outbound outreach, so closers spend their time in conversations with real buyers.
The word that matters is qualified. A meeting only counts if the person fits the ICP, has the problem you solve, and has a say in buying; otherwise it just moves wasted time from the SDR's calendar to the closer's. That's why outbound teams track meeting-booked rate and show rate together, not booked meetings alone.
